  • Henry Cunningham was the son of Henry Thomas Graves Cunningham and Alice Cunningham, of Bluff, Southland, New Zealand.

    He was killed near Markopoulon, Greece, in a raid on 20 Battalion's position by a squadron of Luftwaffe fighter-bombers.

    Two sons, brothers James Albert Cunningham (10443) and Henry Thomas Cunningham (9799) were killed in WW2. AWMM
