    • Nine soldiers from the Canterbury Regiment,2nd Battalion, and three from the North Island are buried near Le Mesnil and Pont-a-Pierres Farms on October 24 1918. They died barely two weeks before Armistice day in 1918. AWMM
    • In 1997 the Senator-Mayor of Beaudignies, Michel Delannoy had requested Mr Lloyd Upton the then Consul Honoraire de France in Christchurch NZ to locate the families of these soldiers. Families of 8 of the 12 soldiers were located. The families were invited to a ceremony at the RSA Headquarters, 74 Armagh St, Christchurch on 1 Nov 1997.
