    • "Mr. C. M. Campbell, second officer of a hospital ship, and formerly of the Union Company's service, is at present in the Dunedin Hospital suffering from a severe attack of. influenza. Mr. Campbell was acting chief officer of the Rosamond until September of 1814, when he left with the Main Expeditionary Force. He was wounded at Gallipoli in December, 1915, and returned to New Zealand as extra officer of a hospital ship." Evening Post (24 June 1918, Page 6) AWMM
    • He left a widow, I. J. Campbell, of Auckland.
