    • HOME FROM THE WAR - WOUNDED MEN RETURN. MANY OF MAIN BODY. VETERANS OF GALLIPOLI.
      A DRAFT of invalided soldiers returned yesterday from service abroad. The draft, which consisted of 10 officers find 113 men.
      Three of the men— Sergeant-Major Ross, of Pahiatua, Sergeant L. B. Nicholas, of Woodville, and Sergeant R. Angel, of Whangarei—hold the Military Medal for gallant service.
      Sergeant Angel, who belongs to the Pioneer Battalion, performed gallant service in Gallipoli, for which he was awarded the Military Medal, and has since been fighting in France.
