  • Trained at Auckland Hospital. Registered Nurse, 1938.

Citation: This officer assumed duties in the British Military Hospital, Kinrara, Federation of Malays, on the 30 March 1955. Except for routine spells on night duty, Captain Campbell has been in complete charge of the surgical ward dealing with all other-rank casualties, whether due to enemy action or accidents, including acute emergency surgery. The excellent results of treatment of these serious surgical cases have, in large measure, been due to personal care and devotion of Captain Campbell and to her great nursing qualities, no effort being spared in ensuring that her patients should receive the best attention at all times.
