    PRIVATE H. R. ARMITAGE. Advice has been received by Mr. Robert Armitage, of Eden Terrace, that his son, late Henry Robert Armitage, of the thirty-fifth reinforcements, who was wounded in action on October 1, died of wounds in hospital in France, on October 24. The deceased soldier was educated at Newton East School, and served his apprenticeship with Messrs. D. and J.
