    • Private Thomas Gaffney - of the Wellington Infantry Regiment - was captured by Turkish Forces on 8 August 1915 at Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli, Turkey. He was held as a POW - of the Turkish - at Hadji-Kiri, Bilemedik Station, Pozanti (POW # 517) until the end of hostilities.
