She died on 5 April 1963 (not 1937) at Christchurch, as recorded in her personnel file at Archway and confirmed by the death registration at NZ Historical Records (Department of Internal Affairs). She was still very active in the 1930s at Hamilton (source - my research). She lived in retirement at Christchurch, Her next-of-kin at death was one of her sisters.
