Leave a tribute or memory of
James Harold Marwick
wounded 11 Sept 1916 while manning a gun iin a shell hole in front of the front line. Walked to dressing station and then by horse drawn ambulance to train and arrived at field hospital 24 hours later. Needless to say gangrene set in necessitating amputation of arm. Many months of hospital in England followed and evenually sent back to NZ. Died 17 July 1951.
