  • As at 2017, two sons in their 90s are living at Westport. His daughter Margaret is in her 70s and living in Stoke, Nelson (Margaret was born when Hartley was approximately 50 years old). Margaret was responsible for tracking down the lost diary and arranging for the transcription of the diary. Hartly also self-published a book on his life. AWMM
