Moore, of Gisborne, who have been reported wounded, were Gisborne members of the draft of "Trents" who went into camp in October last. • I am Alick Trafford's grandson. I have written a book, 'Into The Unknown", from his detailed and sensitive war diaries, published by Penguin Random House NZ, August 4, 2020. For anyone one with family on this online cenotaph, the book will resonate with your own stories. Alick names hundreds of soldiers, some friends and some in passing, and none of these names have been changed.
