    • Stanley Hoare was the son of Henry and Mary Hoare, of West Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Born at Grafton, New South Wales, Australia. AWMM
    • Aug 1917 - The sad advice was received this morning by Mr Henry Hoare, manager of the Gisborne Gas Go., that his youngest son, Private Stanley H. Hoare, died of wounds on August 12. Private Hoare left with the 7th Reinforcements, and had seen considerable service with the Medical Corps.
