  • Last year I laid a poppy having never met you, this year after locating your grave and finding out more about you I feel a little closer to you. Dad Mum and I went to Wellington spent 2 hours wandering around Karori cemetery until we located your Grave. You must have had a terrible time upon your return from the War. Dad was pleased to have finally found your grave. Thank you for fighting for our future xxx

  • To my grandad i never met you but wished i had i bet my dad wishes he had spent more time with you before you passed. He's an amazing man and I'm sure you would have been very proud of him. Thank you for serving our country I'm just sorry your injuries meant you passed away far too young. Xxxx
