    Private Abbott was killed in a charge at the Pinnacle during the August Offensive on 7 August 1915

    Joined unit at Gallipoli, 8 June 1915.
    Admitted to NZ Field Ambulance, 22 July 1915; rejoined unit, same day (no further details recorded).
    Killed in action, 8 August 1915.
