    ROGERS, Laurence Edwin (Regtl No. 3844, 2nd Battalion, Auckland Infantry Regiment, World War 1). On December 29, 1970, at Whangarei, beloved husband of the late Vera and loved father of Ken (Waipu), and loved father-in-law of Mary and loved granddad of Dean, Christine, Leslie and Stacey; aged 80 years. A service will be held in the Presbyterian Church, Waipu, at 1.30 pm. On Thursday, funeral then leaving afterwards for the Waipu Soldier’s Lawn Cemetery.
