To Great Uncle Mart My Dad, your nephew, named his eldest son after you in memory of you. He was very proud of your achievements. He tried to visit your grave while in Southern Italy a number of years ago but was unable to get there and I know it was a huge disappointment to him. He followed your journey as a POW.
