In November 2019, Auckland Museum celebrates its 90th year in the war memorial building in Auckland Domain.
This review looks at each of our priorities in more detail through the eyes of our stakeholders, our partners and the communities we work with and shares some of the highlights that have made up our year of achievements in 2019.
In this online companion to the book, Crafting Aotearoa, several authors bring to light some of our untold craft histories through a collection of 52 essays. Touching on a variety of topics including exhibition histories and placemaking through materials and motifs, this companion shows the strong history and culture of craft in the wider Moana Oceania region.
