Many of the copies have "Mrs Gordon, Waterloo Quadrant, Auckland, N.Z." handwritten on the front cover accompanied by either 2 ha'penny or 1 penny Fijian stamps.
Copy dated 18 August 1887 has 'Miss Mary Garrett, C/- Robert Garrett Esquire, Otahuhu, Auckland, N.Z.' handwritten in ink at the top of the masthead.

Also held is a one sheet extraordinary supplement of The Fiji times dated 2 June 1902, stating:
"Peace Proclaimed
The following telegram has been received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies ;
The representatives of the Boer forces still in the field have accepted the terms of surrender offered by His Majesty's Government.
Chamberlain.
The following reply has been despatched by his Excellency the Administrator :
On behalf of the Europeans and natives of Fiji desire to convey to his Majesty te King and his Majesty's Government most sincere congratulations on cessation of hostilities.
Governor of Fiji".
