    Shrubbery margin. Presumably adventive. Shrubs to c.1m high but with stiff often ± horizontal branches. Stems and lateral branches ± lying in one plane and giving a herringbone effect. Leaves glossy deep green above and pale green beneath. Fruit 8-12 x 7-9mm, ± oblong or oblong obovoid, glossy deep crimson. Fairly common.Almost seems intermediate with C. horizontalis. Dup EX. CHR
