Field Collection Notes
A large lush plant on the northern most point of the summit ridge, fruiting prolifically. Locally common, in and over the rocks on the margins between the rocky edges and dominant kikuyu grass cover. Two caterpillars (Spodoptera litura, images sent to Robert Hoare, id confmed) found under separate plants, some distance apart; known to feed on amaranth.
