    Small stand approximately 20 x 7 m square present amongst bracken, smilax, boxthorn, tall fescue and pohuehue. Stand heavily windshorn and in early stage sof flowering. "Branchlet hairs divergent, flexuous with sparse, antorse-appressed hairs typical of Kunzea aff. ericoides (e) "Thornton" (P. J. de Lange notes, 25 October 2007)
