      Only a single plant seen – looked about 1.5 – 2m x 1m, and in very good health. Host teree: black beech. Area was possumed (1080) about 7 months ago. We had a half hour looking around for others but found none. The first record for the Aorangi Ranges? & only the second for the eastern part of the Wairarapa. First seen last year by a couple of local folk, Clive Paton and Max Stephens, who guided me to it. Specimen: spent flowers and a few leaves off the ground
