  • Description

    Hair ornament. Consisting of bundles of curly, thick, short, dark brown and black coloured rouru (hair) bundled together using threads of coconut sennit. These bundles are interwoven into a base, comprised of a thick woven braid made of coconut sennit, with a loop at each end of the woven base. Plant fibres are visible in a couple of bundles of rouru. A small piece of cotton thread is wrapped around the base.
