    Fue. Fly Whisk. Fue are reserved only for use by orators and high chiefs, they are carried by them during oratory and ceremonial presentations. Fue have two parts; a handle and the whisk. The handle is made from wood and the whisk is made from many fuafuati (bundles of strands) of either 'afa (sennit) or horse hair. This fue has a medium brown wooden handle, cylindrical in shape, that tapers in slightly towards the top.

    There are four rows of 'afa wrapped around the base of the handle as well as a loop. The whisk is thick and long with fuafuati 'afa which have been halfway plaited, knotted, and then left loose.
