  • Description

    Bottles; Abstract Form / Perfume Bottle

    Eleven individual pieces of sculptural artwork made from blown glass, enamelled using High Temperature enamels ( * Paradise Paints are enamels that are made and marketed by Paradise & Co., which is located in Paradise, California, USA.)

    These enamels are fired on during the blowing process and constitute the bright splashes of primary colours on the bodies,

    Each piece consist of Hand Blown elements of glass ( the other glass colour used in the pieces was manufactured by Gaffer Glass. NZ ) , which have been cut and reassembled and fused into a new singular item in a kiln.

    Each piece is then Hand Ground and polished. Some pieces have an additional matte

    ( sandblasted and hand finished ) surface.

    The series consists of circle and square shapes all of varying sizes.

    All bottles have Black coloured stoppers, which are wedge shaped and made of

    Delrin® acetal homopolymer (Polyoxymethylene POM)

    The hollow interiors of the bottles are similar aesthetically with inner circles of varying colours as mentioned on the cat. card.

    Each bottle has the artists name : E MCCLURE etched into the base as well as the year: 1994 NZ
