  • Description

    Kama'a. Sandals. These are a pair of hand woven sandals. They are made out of dried Tī leaves and lau hala (Pandanus leaves). The lau hala has been woven over the Tī leaves to form the soles. The butt ends feature the ends of the Tī leaves. Long twisted pieces of lau hala form the straps of the sandals which would brace the wearers ankles. The kama'a are pale yellow in colour.
