  • Description

    Kete. Bag. For carrying personal items. Woven from rauara (pandanus). Weaving commenced from the top of the bag in a check pattern and finished with an iri (braid) at the base. The rauara strips commence in one size then split in half for finer weaving in the rest of the bag. The tatai (handles) are iri taki toru (three-ply braid) from natural rauara and woven through rim of the bag. Natural in colour.
