  • Description

    Hair ornament. Consisting of bundles of dark brown and black rouru (hair) bundled together using threads of coconut sennit. These bundles are interwoven into a base, comprised of a thick woven braid, 3-ply, made of coconut sennit, and is knotted at each end. Strips of brown fau (hibiscus fibre) are interwoven into each end of the base.
