18 pdr quick-firing field gun, Mark II, Britain 1904 - 1911.
Calibre 3.3 inches Weight of projectile 18 pounds. 100 million rounds were fired by this type of gun between 1914 and 1918. Used by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Brigades New Zealand Field Artillery 1914 - 1918. Martin-Parry Motor Transport gear fitted in 1939. The last battle with New Zealand Army was with an anti-tank gun at Sidi Aziz Libya, November 1941.
