    Regarding the fall of Rangiriri, arguably the decisive battle for Waikato. Williams writes that he expected Ngaruawahia to also be possessed by Lieutenant-General Duncan Cameron. He goes on to share that Sarah had given birth to a girl, to discuss his business regarding the potential sale of land in Wellington, and enquire after the Hadfield's opinions as to what should come of Kate's land at Pakaraka.
