Unpublished. Similar to plate 42 in Morrison, Robin. (1981). The South Island of New Zealand From the Road. Martinborough, New Zealand: Alister Taylor. Technical notes on the photographs published in The South Island of New Zealand From the Road: Photographs taken using available light. Film stock, Kodachrome 64. The photograph on the back cover of From the Road and plate 125 are the two exceptions with Agfachrome 50s used as the film stock.
The two photographs were taken on a previous trip to Te Waipounamu, the South Island. Referring to thse two photographs Robin says "...it was the light and space expressed in them that made me want to return for more.". Nikon cameras using 24mm, 35mm, 35mm perspective control, 50mm, 105mm and an 80-200mm zoom lens
