At least 4 epiphytic patches of this fern on a large Moreton Bay fig tree overhanging the road: largest patch c.2m across, 1-2m up from ground; c.1m across patch, 3m up; between them a patch c.40cm across; 6m up a patch c.20cm across (above the largest patch). The largest patch would have been planted - others not sure - the highest up certainly wild (see photos). All patches on the E & S sides of host tree. Host tree c.3.5m diameter & c.18m tall, planted 1870-86. Specimen: fertile frond from the largest patch
