Lidded, lid is fitted and sits over a lip inside the base. At the opening of both the top and bottom of the basket is a wide wooden rim that has carved designs of geometric shapes of small triangles, lines and sun shapes, the uncarved wood is painted black. The top and bottom of basket is woven using dried cane in plait weave technique
