This is a toki made of maea (rock). The toki is dark grey in colour with a flake finish. The surface of the maea may also be referred to as maea poro which means smooth rock. The butt is straight with minor differentiation from the blade. The toki also has a trapezoidal cross section. The bevel is straight with a slight ridge where it meets the back.
