    there is a suitably antique look about this bamboo for powdered tea from Kyoto, for the product is one with a long history, and the beverage made with it has been popular in the tea houses of the Gion geisha district for many years. the label, which goes all the way around the bamboo tube, is of soft old-stylepaper. in addition to advertising the shop, it describes the virtues of the tea.
