    Lidded basket

    Woven from cane and plant fibre. Woven in a coiled construction. The cane is dyed black and red, and left it's natural colour in other sections. The body is a wide and short cylindrical shape with a short stem and circular flared foot, the stem is now lopsided.The lid has a lip that sits inside basket body, lid curves upwards towards the centre and has ovoid shape at top. The base and foot of basket are natural cane colour, body of basket has a pattern of red and black diamonds
