    Figure, horse

    Mingqi tomb figure. Made from a buff ceramic that is unglazed earthenware. The figure depicts a horse on a rectangular base with one leg raised pawing at the ground. The horse is painted white but the paint has faded and is patchy exposing the buff ceramic. The horse is wearing a saddle that has been painted pink and grey, there are some repairs to the saddle.

    On the horses stomach underside is a large hole for aiding with drying the ceramic.

    On the underside of the base is a paper label with Chinese script
