    Robes of robe: lives of command (maker's title)

  • Description

    fibre sculpture predominantly of hand-made paper in the form of a Japanese style costume, titled `Robes of robe: lives of command', part of `Robes of the night fleet' series. The paper (of various textures) is painted with metallic silver and black pigments and ornamented with hand sewn purchased silver sequins, two types of braid, black glass beads and larger blue and black plastic beads beads. The whole mounted within a square perspex box integral to the finished piece.
