cup, cast bronze, covered, titled `Winged Egg', with a solid hemispherical foot, long cylindrical stem rising to a 2-part ovular body in the form of two hemispherical cups divided visually in the middle by a raised band to the lip of the lower cup; the upper cup surmounted by a miniature female figure which forms both a finial and the start of a thin wing-type form attached to one side of the cup from the finial to the lower part of the stem and divided centrally at the band which separates the two cups; the `wing' with three rows of feathers; the whole surface with a dark patination excepting the band to the body which has been semi-polished, No.2 of an edition of 6
