    Mingqi tomb figure of Tang dynasty era. Made from earthernware. The figure depicts a priest in robes with a hood over a topknot. The priest has hands clasped together with a small hole between hands to hold something. The ceramic is a buff colour, with traces of faded brown and cream paint. The figure is freestanding and has a hollow underside to aid with the drying process of the ceramic.
