    jar and Lid

    Made from brass and enamel. A cloisonné jar with a circular opening a short neck and a spheroid body, and three brass legs on the base. The lid is a rounded lid and a brass knob at the top. The jar is decorated with a blue metallic band around the shoulders with polychromatic enamels of sunbursts and flowers. The lower section of the body is has a black ground and small metal spirals, half circulars run around the body in alternating green and purple with more small flowers and butterflies.
