    necklace, comprised of one large piece of gold lipped mother of pearl shell sliced into thirty-four interlocking beads. Linked by a fine (synthetic)

    cord, with a sterling silver hook and clasp mechanism. Makers mark is hand engraved "RM" and "88" in an oval mother of pearl insert on the last bead.
