    Basket, backpack

    Made from rattan, cane, and palm fibre. The base is a coil technique weave with dried cane for the coil and rattan for the wrap in a circle shape. The sides of basket are plait technique weave in rattan in natural and dark brown colours which create patterns of circles and spiral shape boarders around the basket. The rim of the basket is rope made from twisted palm leaf fibre. 2 straps on either side of the basket are woven from cane with plait technique that are tied to the cord of cane, that then pass under the basket and across to the handle on the opposing side
