The Zither is made from wood, pearl, metal, and cotton, and the case is made from faux leather, metal, and red velvet. The zither has a long rectangular body that tapers to one short side, the wider side has 2 curved feet. The zither has seventeen metal wire strings, The fret board also has 15 wooden bridges that adjust the sound of the strings. Each end of the zither has pearl inlay with scenes of figures on elephants, playing boardgames, holding spears. There are also images of dragons and scenery. 2 red tassel are attached to the Zither.

Inside the case is a Song loan percussion instrument that is disk shaped with an arm and ball at the end. The disk is made from wood and has a dragon pearl inlay.

The case is the same shape as the Zither and is made from faux leather with raised relief of flowers and a figure playing a Zither. Inside the case is a red velvet lining, the case has 3 metal closures and a hinged lid
