  • Description

Fangufangu. Nose flute. Made from a single section of kofe (bamboo) the playing holes are then burnt through or drilled through, there are 5 from top to bottom and a 6th hole drilled on the other side directly opposite the middle hole. This fangufangu is medium in size and cylindrical in shape. Instead of the playing holes being in a line along its length, these playing holes are placed slightly diagonal to one an other.

It is brown in colour with darker brown areas due to the nature of the kofe and its drying process. There are decorative part of this fangufangu which have been soldered on, zig zag designs as well as embellishments around the playing holes.
