  • Description

    Ei. Necklace consisiting of ua (seeds) mata koviriviri (Red-bead tree, Adenanthera pavonina) and two types of pupu (shells), pupu rengarenga (Yellow necklace-shell, Orobophana pacifica) and small white half-dome shaped pupu, (Heliacus or Solatisonax).

    The pupu are bored and strung on nylon taura tautai (fishing line) in a pattern of large groupings (approximately 12-30) of white half-dome shaped pupu alternating with groupings of 3-7 pupu rengarenga surrounded by 1 ua mata koviriviri on both sides. Ei is long and can be worn looped once.
