    Ei. Necklace consisting of small yellow pupu (shell) rengarenga (Yellow necklace-shell, Orobophana pacifica), raroara (Yellow ear-shell, Melampus luteus), and ua (seeds) mata koviriviri (Red-bead tree, Adenanthera pavonina). The pupu and ua are bored and strung in a pattern on nylon taura tautai (fishing line) in groupings of 10-30 pupu rengarenga alternating with 1 pupu raroara in between 1 mata koviriviri on either side. Ei is long and can be worn looped once.
