  • Description

    Te ili. Fan. The blade of this ili is woven with kaumoe (young coconut leaf) of natural colour in a spade shape. There is decorative accenting overlay of blue vulu (wool) with red and white vulu attached along the edges in an alternating pattern. The weaving commencement is visible at the centre of the blade. The handle of the ili is encased with lau fala (pandanus leaves), also natural in colour.
