    Ukarere. Ukulele. Musical string instrument. Made from composite materials. Neck headstock and tuners carved and shaped from au (wild hibiscus wood), natural colour. Body constructed fro 3 kapu akari (coconut shells). Plywood for the face of the ukarere, painted in a red hibiscus and green foliage design against a yellow background. 'KISS ME' painted above the hibiscus design, 'RAROTONGA' painted below. Four nylon strings. Metal bridge and saddle.
