  • Description

    Bamboo flute with incised and smoked triangle motif. The design is of double triangles, alternating brown and natural bamboo in colour. The design is comprised of 31 bands from top (mouth end) to bottom (playing end) of this repeating triangular pattern. This design begins at the top of the flute and ends 115mm from the end. There is a notched triangle mouthpiece, 25mm deep. There are two holes drilled into the playing end of the flute.

    Two prongs are present at the end of flute, measuring 105mm long. These prongs are decorated with a carved rounded triangular edging. The end of the flute is carved down to a smaller diameter than the rest of the flute, 25mm in diameter.
